Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance: Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.).
Special Projects: Carry out cleansing tasks and special projects as needed.
Reporting Issues: Notify management of any deficiencies or repair needs.
Supply Management: Stock and maintain supply rooms; take inventory of cleaning supplies and materials and order more as needed.
Team Collaboration: Cooperate with the rest of the staff to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling receptacles, keeping them clean and odor-free.
Carpet Care: Vacuum all carpeted areas and spot clean when necessary.
Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and polish floors using appropriate cleaning supplies.
Furniture and Fixture Cleaning: Clean and dust furniture, ledges, light fixtures, and other hard-to-reach places.
Glass Cleaning: Wash windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces, ensuring they are free of streaks.
Restroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring soap and paper dispensers are well-stocked.
Maintenance Reporting: Inform the maintenance manager of any broken or malfunctioning items to ensure prompt resolution.
Client Assistance: Help clients feel relaxed and assist with their needs.
Requirements and Skills
Knowledgeable: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Integrity: High ethical standards.
Education: High school degree.
Instruction Following: Capable of following instructions and learning new techniques.
Time Management: Strong time management skills to complete all work by the end of the shift.
Initiative: Self-starter who can determine and complete necessary tasks with minimal supervision.
Team Player: Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 20 pounds for short periods.
Attention to Detail: Possess a strong attention to detail.
