As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Full-Time Packaging Operator to join our team.
Position Description
As a Packaging Operator, you will be an integral part of our assembly line operations. You will work with various machines, ensuring the smooth and efficient packaging of our products. Your role will involve working in teams to meet daily targets, maintaining high standards of quality, and adhering to our Health and Safety policies.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation: Operate various machines including case erectors, shrink wrappers, and fillers.
Packaging: Pack, fill, and load bottles and cans.
Assembly Line: Maintain a steady pace on bottling and canning lines to meet daily production targets.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, clear jams, and adjust equipment as needed.
Reporting: Complete specified operator reports and report any machinery malfunctions to the supervisor.
Setup and Preparation: Assist with the setup and preparation of machinery and equipment for start-up.
Cleaning: Tidy and clean the work area at the end of each shift.
Quality Control: Ensure that the standards of the brewery are not compromised by maintaining quality control at all times.
Skills and Experience
Experience: Previous experience operating machinery, preferably in a fast-moving beverage or food manufacturing environment.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand on feet for long periods.
Organization: Must be clean and organized with all duties.
Attitude: Positive attitude and hardworking.
Reliability: Punctual, reliable, and respectful.
Team Player: Good team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule
You will be offered approximately five day shifts per week, Monday to Friday.
Shift hours: 6:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Potential for full-time opportunities.
