Role Overview

Kava Labs is looking for a Senior DevRel Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in onboardingprotocol partners onto their Layer 1 Blockchain. They will establish highly efficient processes and act as the technical liaison between Engineering, Business Development, Product, and Design teams. This is a full-time, remote position.

Responsibilities

Developer and Integration Partner Support

Act as dedicated support for developers and integration partners.
Research, diagnose, and solve technical problems raised by customers (developers).
Serve as an escalation point for product engagement issues, liaising between Engineering and Business Development teams to troubleshoot and resolve requests.

Standardization of Support Processes

Establish operational procedures and standards for developer support.
Update and improve documentation while optimizing and streamlining efficiencies.

Advocacy

Proactively communicate with internal partners regarding technical issues as they arise.
Engage with internal and external partners to help drive prioritization and technical resolution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Engineering, Business Development, Product, and Design teams for any necessary adjustments.
Who You Are
2+ years of experience in an Integration Engineer/DevRelrole.
Solid experience contributing to and improving an onboarding system for customers/partners.
1+ year in the web3 space.
Experience in supporting and troubleshooting web applications, JSON, and Rest APIs.
Proficient in multiple programming languages (e.g., Bash, JavaScript, Python).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of the crypto ecosystem.
Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Adaptability in a niche space and the ability to develop creative solutions/processes.

Nice to Haves

Technical writing (documentation).
Experience designing and building onboarding systems for customers/partners.
Understanding of web technologies (DNS, HTTP, TLS, Web services).
Experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure) and distributed systems.
Experience with microservice architecture and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Redis.
Understanding of Ethereum, web3 development, and the blockchain ecosystem.
