Our thesis is simple: every financial services firm will offer digital assets within the next two years, and they will do so through platforms such as Zero Hash. We are defining the new FinTech vertical of crypto-as-a-service.

Role Overview:

Zero Hash is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist with legal research, document preparation, and various administrative tasks related to our operations. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen interest in digital assets and financial technology. This is a fully remote role, but candidates must be based in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

1. Legal Research and Analysis:

Conduct legal research on regulatory developments, compliance requirements, and industry best practices related to cryptocurrencies and digital assets.
Summarize findings and provide actionable insights to the legal team.

2. Document Preparation and Management:

Assist in the preparation, review, and management of legal documents, including contracts, regulatory filings, and compliance reports.
Ensure all documents are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Administrative Support:

Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining legal calendars, and managing correspondence.
Organize and maintain legal files and records.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, including Compliance, Operations, and Business Development, to support legal and regulatory needs.
Assist in drafting and reviewing internal communications related to legal and compliance matters.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably within the fintech, financial services, or cryptocurrency sectors.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and issues related to digital assets and financial technology.
Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
